The RBC Restoration Project

Welcome to The RBC Restoration Project! We are a group of student filmmakers from Rust, CO, USA who discovered that our hometown had a now defunct TV station called the Rust Broadcasting Company (RBC). The RBC debuted in 1988, and allegedly had somewhere between 10 to 20 original TV shows before it shut down in 2003. Our team has since been digging for and attempting to restore the shows that have since been lost to time.

Our team has so far discovered seven shows as of 4.26.2025 which we are working tirelessly to restore. Including but not limited to titles such as: "Goons For Hire," "The American Pantheon," and "Cryptid Club." Check out our full list in the links section of our website!

- Mod Aster: Mod Aster is a Rust, CO native who has had a passion for filmmaking since he was very young. He heard about the Rust Broadcasting Company while interviewing his father for an unrelated student documentary project.

- Mod Wanda: Mod Wanda is a cartoonist who moved from Wyoming to attend Rust CO's very own film school for their animation department. There, she met Mods Aster and Bigfoot, where she also became enthralled in the story of The RBC.

- Mod Moth: Mod Moth is another Rust native, as well as a voice actor and aspiring film archivist, who heard about the RBC from Mod Aster and knew he had to help with the restoration project.
